Working within LG&P'sEngineering Functional Group and in conjunction with LG&P's Design andProject Management teams, to support all internal Engineering needs and demandsto analyze and translate creative concepts into manufacturable and viabledesigns for retail, meeting structural and aesthetic requirements within theprescribed budget.
This position requires a very careful adherence to well-defined work where repeatable results are needed. The work is precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. It is vital for the work output to be very high quality, with correct results, time and time again.

Required Qualifications
KEY Responsibilities
· Prepare engineering models/drawings needed for LG&P to execute Prototypes and Production runs, for both domestic and import projects (master level, sub-assembly level, part level as well as occasionally, packaging/pack-out drawings).
· Lead the engineering development of entire projects. Achieve goals consistently and efficiently. Work thoroughly, leaving nothing to chance.
· Leverage first-hand manufacturing knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, wood fabrication, injection molding, plastic fabrication, etc. aiming to create broader awareness throughout the entire LG&P Engineering team.
· Team with the Prototype Shop to facilitate the building of prototypes for selected projects.
· Work with the Quality Control team to analyze production “first-off” samples on assigned projects.
· Participate in client meetings when presentation of engineering work is needed.
· Act as the technical advisor to installations as well as client meetings/reviews.
· Support the requirements for Instruction Sheet development.
· Conduct field research and evaluation of retail environments in order to support the engineering aspects of certain projects.
